10 WAYS TO THINK LIKE GOOGLE
7

We all know that “Google” is already synonymous to “search”. Its a tool I use daily that I think I won’t be able to live without. My genuine interest about the company has lead me to read about their story.
Here are 10 things I learned From Google.
1.) Think first of a solution to a customer’s problem before thinking of how to make money.
2.) Push the limit of existing technologies, services, products....
3.) Avoid clutter and confusion. Keep a clean space, page, closet or whatever.
4.) Be relevant.
5.) Word of mouth can build my empire.
6.) Do one thing really, really, really, well.
7.) Fast is better than slow. --- offer Instant gratification for your customers
8.) Simple advertising can be better than “flashy ones”.
9.) You can do serious business without a suit. (You don’t need to buy a lava lamp!)
10.) Being the best is not the end point, but the starting point. But don’t settle for best. Always be in the quest of perfecting what you do.
"Googol" is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros. The term was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, and was popularized in the book, "Mathematics and the Imagination" by Kasner and James Newman. Google's play on the term reflects the company's mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the web.
